The Axpo Naturstrom Fund for renewable energy sources promotes technological developments in the area of renewable energy sources. It limits its support to promising projects in research and development, pilot and demonstration facilities, as well as studies. For example, part funding is provided for projects for harnessing wood gas for the operation of fuel cells or the development of flexible solar cells.
