Energy efficiency

Increase in energy efficiency

To ensure that development is sustainable, it is important for energy to be used, produced and distributed efficiently. Axpo feels sure that a credible and successful energy policy is only possible if there is support for energy efficiency and, thus, for the responsible use of energy.

To this end we take steps to increase our own energy efficiency. In addition, we support customers' projects in this area.

Axpo continuously upgrades its production facilities, networks, infrastructure and its own business ecology. Axpo takes due account of the latest findings in the area of energy efficiency.

Work then started on the complete refurbishment of existing offices in Baden, once again conforming to the Minergie standard. The visitors' center in Böttstein was also built according to Minergie.
