A different approach to school

Electricity live – an enriching addition to the curriculum!

Learn something new in a new environment. Take your class on a trip to the Lower Aare Valley and visit the Axporama. Depending on what interests you and how much time you have at your disposal, you can choose between three different free packages. The starting point is always the Axporama where your pupils can examine and experience energy with all their senses over two floors. To enhance what the pupils have learned, you can also book a guided tour of the Beznau nuclear power plant or hydroelectric power station. You can also have your lunch here, using our quiet grill area in the garden (booking required)!

Learning packs for school children

Classical learning methods and media are increasingly being supplemented by electronic media, and there is a particular trend towards incorporating extra-curricular activities into the teaching program.

A tour of the Axporama and of the power stations on the island of Beznau is particularly enriching for cross-curricular teaching! This facilitates an integrated approach to studying a wide range of subject areas: economics, politics, physics, geography, people and the environment, etc.

We would be delighted to assist teaching staff by providing them with accompanying teaching materials free of charge. This enables them to do successful preparatory and follow-up work in connection with school trips or project weeks, thereby anchoring learning targets more sustainably.
