The quickest way to get here

Whether you are traveling by road or by rail, here is the quickest way to get here.

By rail from Zurich:

Take a train from Zurich Central Station (Hbf) to Brugg AG. Take a bus from outside Brugg railway station on the line terminating at Döttingen Railway Station (Bf). The bus takes about 20 min. to reach Böttstein (Schloss (castle) stop). Total journey time is approx. 50 min. Swiss Rail SBB

By road from Zurich:

Take the A1 motorway (in the direction of Bern/Basel) – Leave the motorway at the Neuenhof exit (following signs for Bad Zurzach) – Then continue in the direction of Baden – Take the main road towards Villigen – Follow signs for Böttstein.

There is plenty of free parking in front of Böttstein Castle.
