The Axporama philosophy

The Axporama aims to impart knowledge and to provoke discussion. In an entertaining way and in an unusual environment.

If there's one thing we've learnt from our visitors, it's that very few of them actually manage to remember clever formulas and dry theory, and this rarely answers their questions in any case.

So, we brought top name exhibition designers on board to help us create the Axporama in 2006. The visitors can conduct various experiments and tests to find the answers to their own questions. After all, the easiest way to learn is to try things out for yourself. That is our philosophy.

The Axporama wants to give its visitors a more hands-on experience of the environment, energy and electricity. The visitor gets to explore and experience energy using all his senses, focusing on both present-day and future electricity supplies. The pros and cons of the different forms of energy are illustrated and made real in an exciting, visual way.

Our visitors are offered a unique day out with highly visual theme blocks. We want our visitors to associate the name Axporama with a highly eventful, fascinating day out. And with acquiring lots of knowledge and information about something that's part of our everyday lives. Energy.
