Argessa AG

Storage power station in the canton of Valais

The Ergisch-based power stations, which were built between 1924 and 1926, were taken over by the concession authorities as they reverted to the state. Axpo AG has had a 35% stake in the company since 2002 and utilizes the entire energy.

Mean annual production is 84m kWh. The two power station stages use the water which flows in from a catchment area in the source area of the Turtmann Brook, covering around 95 km2. Pumped operation facilities limits use of surplus energy.

The managerial mandate is held by Axpo Hydro Energy.

Höherer Jahresgewinn – leicht tiefere Energieerzeugung

Die Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG (KLL) haben im Geschäftsjahr 2010/11 einen Jahres-gewinn von 6.316 Mio. CHF erzielt. Die Energieerzeugung fiel mit 403 Mio. kWh leicht geringer aus als im Vorjahr.
