AG Kraftwerk Wägital

Storage power station in the canton of Schwyz

The Wägital power station, which went into operation in 1924, is co-owned equally by Axpo AG and the utility Elektrizitätswerk der Stadt Zürich. When this plant went into operation, it represented the first pump-operated system in the Axpo power station fleet. With an output of 108 MW, the facility has a mean annual production of 120m kWh.

AG Kraftwerke Wägital has its own autonomous managerial personnel.

Höherer Jahresgewinn – leicht tiefere Energieerzeugung

Die Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG (KLL) haben im Geschäftsjahr 2010/11 einen Jahres-gewinn von 6.316 Mio. CHF erzielt. Die Energieerzeugung fiel mit 403 Mio. kWh leicht geringer aus als im Vorjahr.
