Axpo Naturstrom is guaranteed natural electricity

Anyone who purchases Axpo Naturstrom can rest assured that 100% of the electricity produced and fed into the grid is natural. TÜV SÜD (Technical Inspection Agency) acts as an independent body and guarantees that the natural electricity that you order is produced in plants in Switzerland in the proper quality and volume and is fed as such into the grid. It audits the process, the correct consolidation of the production figures and checks that income and support funds are used as intended. It conducts a certification audit, as well as checks in the production facilities every year.

TÜV SÜD creates transparency in the electricity market

TÜV SÜD is more than just an inspection agency, it stands for increased safety and greater value. Its core duties range from advice to tests and certifications to training. With a workforce of over 13,000 at 600 locations, it works to optimize engineering, systems and expertise right around the world.

The Energy Certification division at TÜV SÜD certifies electricity designations, the origin of generation and confirms that energy products delivered to the end customer are environmentally friendly and come from renewable energy sources. This ensures that the trading partner and the end consumer receive the contractually agreed form of electricity and helps to create transparency.

Benefits of a certified product

  • Certainty that the electricity purchased comes from renewable energy sources
  • Guarantees the correct processing – no multiple sales
  • Orientation guide and reliable decision-making criteria thanks to clearly defined requirements
  • Strict requirements in terms of production and the product are met

The TÜV SÜD seal of quality is recognized worldwide
