IWK Integrierte Wärme und Kraft AG offers customers sustainable energy solutions thanks to decentralised energy production using combined heat and power generation. It is a partner for the sale, maintenance and servicing of combined heating and power stations for efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy production. Through the combined production of heat and electricity at the site of demand, the power plants achieve a degree of efficiency of more than 90 percent. The plants can be run on natural gas and/or renewable energies such as biogas, sewage gas, wood gas, landfill gas or other combustible non-standard gases.
Axpo AG is a 49 percent stakeholder in IWK Integrierte Wärme und Kraft AG; 51 percent of the company is in private ownership.
